Aatish Taseer lost his Pakistani father, was brought up by his Indian mother, so he should be considered Indian. Ok
Rahul Gandhi lost his father Rajiv Gandhi, was brought up by his Italian mother, so he should be considered..?
Aatish Taseer and his cheerleaders go loco: Here is how they are lying and deceiving about him losing his OCI
My article https://t.co/7uARFN6Edd
Citizenship Amendment Bill also have provision that registration of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders may be cancelled if they violate any law.
This is a wide ground that may cover a huge range of violations. People like Aatish Taseer will not be spared anymore.
Indian liberals spent a decade celebrating Narendra Modi not getting a visa to travel to the US despite being a democratically elected Chief Minister of a state of 60 million people.
Now Indian liberals are whining about Aatish Taseer losing his Indian visa.

The Narendra Modi government has revoked the Overseas Citizen of India card held by journalist and author Aatish Taseer, in what can be held as the direct fallout of his pre-election cover story on the prime minister for TIME magazine.
"With my grandmother turning ninety next year – and my mother seventy — the government has cut me off from my country and family."
#mustread Aatish Taseer defends his right to an OCI after govt decides to revoke it @TIME
Aatish won’t apply for Indian citizenship because British Passport is more premium but Aatish will have full footage for being denied OCI. Typical ecosystem, peak lutyens and peak sense of entitlement this https://t.co/YlHeVLlzVT
I was raised by a single mother & remember being dragged from lawyer to judge just to get a passport because authorities wouldn't accept her as my guardian. Political malice in Aatish Taseer's case aside, it's telling of the hell single mothers in India are put through every day.
Aatish Taseer was one of those intellectuals who welcomed Modi as India finally "speaking its own voice", 'real India' emerging from the shackles of the old deracinated Lutyens elite. Now that 'real India' has barred him from entering itself, there are a few lessons to draw (1/n)
Aatish Taseer is married to a man
Every country in the world where homosexuality is punishable with death is an Islamic state
who has all the time to peddle hate against Hinduism won't ever utter a word against Quranic hate
That's what makes him an Islamist
The meltdown about Aatish Taseer losing his Indian citizenship is pointless. He is among many losing their citizenship because of Pakistani parents.
Many Bangladeshis too lost their citizenship.
It's an established Indian law.
The Home Ministry has invoked it. It didn't invent it
Aatish Taseer is an outright Hinduphobe and all his articles on India’s situation are devoid of facts and motivated in nature but revoking his OCI right after a controversy is only going to lend credence to his lies and make the Modi Govt look vindictive and impulsive.
I have very often been attacked by Tavleen Singh in her columns. But I condemn Home Ministry revoking her son Aatish Taseer's OCI. It was, however only to be expected. All critical voices are either snooped on, harassed or muzzled. Kyunki Tanashahi ka doosra naam Amitshahi hai! https://t.co/q1ORU0U6MO
The most puzzling accusation against Aatish Taseer is that he "concealed" anything, given his detailed 2007 book "Stranger to History". That he was brought up in India, single handedly by his Indian mother is clear as well. https://t.co/9iXucVLCyo

I am Indian. Why is the government sending me into exile? @aatishtaseer writes about losing his homeland https://t.co/BzjyRqgN5H
Modi govt that stripped #AatishTaseer overseas citizenship had just stripped Jammu & #Kashmir of statehood, autonomy, & basic human freedoms. In Assam, working to strip 1.9 million people – mostly Muslim, – of citizenship, rendering them stateless. https://t.co/OvNRFSMPwi
Unbelievable. Aatish Taseer isn’t just a normalizer of slurs used by Islamist terrorists against Hindus, he also hid crucial information and committed a kind of immigration fraud to acquire Overseas Citizen of India status? How did this happen? Did somebody pull strings for him? https://t.co/lrV7D394UK
Aatish Taseer wrote Divider-in-Chief article in May, 2019 but OCI status revoked only in November. Modi is vindictive but very very slow 😂😂
"India is my country. The relationship is so instinctive that, like an unwritten constitution, I had never before felt it necessary to articulate it." https://t.co/rulKd2IGZZ
Einsteins likening Aatish Taseer to Rahul Gandhi for some comic relief should know that the law only deprives persons whose both or one of the parents have or have had Pakistani or Bangladeshi citizenship, of Indian citizenship. No other countries have been specified in the law.
