my fav fathers day video
the dried babies on my cum towel singing me a song for Father's Day
Almora leads off the 5th with a single. #Cubs looking to get something going on offense!
Albert Almora single puts tying run on base for the Cubs with no outs in the ninth.
pretty sure they call this the reverse-Canseco.
Cody Bellinger ‘booped’ Albert Almora Jr. on the head with his home run. https://t.co/OJSuvLOM8T
WAIT bellinger’s homer hit almora in the head? didn’t that happen against the cubs last year too??😂
Cubs Lose! Osso! Força! 🐻👊 https://t.co/Ra3eYgdnJl
Top 3 reasons #Cubs lost today:
1. KB’s bad throw when go ahead runner was coming home.
2. Almora’a bad lead and jump at play at the plate.
3. Tough umpiring, Taylor shouldn’t have walked in the first place.
#WhiteSox on Tuesday and #Mets after that back at home
#Cubs blow three leads this weekend. Almora is not a good baserunner.
Almora is slower than a 3-legged turtle....I don’t care what the clowns on ESPN say about his foot speed
I’m sorry I’m still on this but could you imagine baez and almora doing the little froggie on the log chant
Final: #Cubs 2 #Dodgers 3
Martin: 1-4, go-ahead 1B in 8th
Bellinger: 1-3, HR, BB
Ryu: 7 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 8 K
Quintana: 5 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 3 K
didn't this happen to almora jr with a max muncy hr last year
@Stephen081619 @ceverett03 @MacLarenRoy @ESPNChiCubs
I did and all you are saying is he wasn't flat footed. Replay showed he clearly was. Secondary lead...nope can't do that either even though the 3rd baseman was off the bag significantly. Almora messed that up. Move on and learn from it.
@Stephen081619 @MacLarenRoy @ESPNChiCubs
Oh no that was really bad baserunning. Can't be flat footed if you are running on contact. Secondary lead was short as well. Doesn't guarantee he is safe of course. Almora does some really low IQ things at times.
How does Almora get caught flat footed? Absolutely no secondary lead! He scores with a good secondary right there.
Almora haters suck a dick
Almora best be starting Tuesday vs.the White Sox
Honest to god it took me a second to figure that out. I think cause I considered him gone a while ago.
A semi-rebuild. Schwarber should have been traded two years ago. Heyward needs to be unloaded somehow. CJ can go. Most likely will need to trade Almora, Bote and Kyle S. I would throw Caratini in too.
Is it possible they didn't calibrate the speed gun? Albert Almora is on par with Rich Eisen
I bet if Alex Verdugo worked at a Cracker Barrel with Albert Almora instead of them playing CF he'd still be better at that job too. https://t.co/ZqhXnqfHVO
@jgbarratt @suntimes_sports @GDubCub
All valid points . That's the thing , it's not rocket science. Sometimes Maddon tries to be tough cool for school. Not bunting in 9th blew my mind. Although we lucked out with schwarber. Almora getting thrown out good god that was brutal
@Jeffmodzelewsk1 @suntimes_sports @GDubCub
KB in LF late? Almora missing the cutoff? Caratini not bunting then chopping one anyway? Butter running into an out for the upteenth time? Q walking 3 straight guys in 13 pitches? Sending him out in the 6th w/93 pitches? Cishek left in. Maddon tonight? 0-3. 2 runs.
A 3 part lineup question. First, how much longer will the pitcher continue to bat 8th instead of 9th? Second, is it time for the #Cubs to play Bote everyday at 2B? Third, would you bat Almora 9th instead of 6th or 7th? #CubsInbox
How do you figure? Descalso, trash shouldn't be starting. Almora, trash offensively maybe should start a couple days a week. Russell is garbage. Bote is decent but not an everyday guy. Heyward needs rest too. There's your everyday AB
@jbats14 @Gajeske @Cubs
He should be at third every game, botr at 2nd. Schwarb -left, heyward -center, cargo/almora right/rotated to give people days off.
Russell traded or in minors, good defender but that's it.
No mention of poor execution costing another W.
Q walks in a run.
Bryant can’t throw anybody out from outfield.
Almora should’ve scored easily.
is in denial about this team’s lack of focus. And coddling bad performance will not get them to October.
Leaving Bryant in to play LF instead of switching him to 3B in the late innings cost 1 run.
Almora taking an extremely cautious secondary lead off 3B allowing him to be thrown out at home in the 9th cost 1 run.
These small details are how the #Cubs lose so many 1 run road games. https://t.co/jm4U3IVRqC
For me Almora and Russell can go. Keep Schwarber. I like Contreras but he gets off to fast starts and then tails off and he’s doing that now. Baez, Rizzo, and Bryant end up with good numbers but sometimes they disappear in big games. They’re in a tough spot
@MaisoRom @pochman @ESPNChiCubs
And that's not a knock on Heyward. Just like his plate discipline. Almora, Bote and Cargo are less willing to take a walk.
Almora needed a better jump at third and it would have been tied. Would have been a different lineup if it were a post season game.
He had a bad lead and no secondary lead. He was flat footed or he scores. Almora has 2 miscues in the game.
Terrible throw from Bryant and bad baserunning by Almora. Little mistakes lose games against elite opponents.
Sadly there has been a lot of those mistakes lately.
It's LA. All about acting.Almora catches that ball shoulder high.
Almora has to do better than to go there.
Why are you still complaining about it?!? Bigger issues on the team to deal with.
WTF Almora??! Run!!!!! #CHCvsLAD
I had enuff of Maddon playing musical players in multiple positions. Schwarber would’ve made that throw from LF. Schwarbs needs to be the everyday LF, Bryant at 3rd, Bote at 2nd and Almora in CF. Then play Descalso & Gonzalez as needed. That’s it.
Floro has been just fine. You really don't think Floro, Garcia, Ferguson, and Alexander can get three outs before giving up a run when the Cubs start the inning with Almora and Heyward?
Almora has now been hit twice in the head by a home run coming back into the field at dodger stadium lol
Not on Joe. Poor jump by Almora but Caratini simply has to get the ball past the pitcher with one out and runner on third. Lack of execution.
And lets see, how many hits did Almora have tonight? And then Biaz, Russell, and down the line? Almora is NOT the reason Cubs lost this game
Côté attaque, 9 hits, aucun HR
RBI :Bote et Contreras
Bote, Heyward et Russell 0/3
Rizzo et Contreras 2/4
Will be visiting Chitai Bell Temple(Almora) tomorrow morn.
I’m good with Almora going as well. Despite is hits tonight he’s an underachiever on offense. His base running was brutal tonight.
Almora had his head so far up his ass on that play he deserved to be out.
Came real close to blowing another save the night after blowing one.. when Almora was on second Jansen looked so uncomfortable too.. like he thought they were stealing signs or whatever
secretly hoping almora never cuts his hair
-Q walks 3 guys in the 1st including a run.
-Bryant (an infielder) throws a dead duck from left letting another run in.
-Almora sleeps at 3rd, gets thrown out at plate. Should’ve scored easily.
Alternate score without heads up asses: 3-1 #Cubs
Did you guys see Almora get doubled on the dome by a dodger homer for the second year in a row? I feel for the guy.
I agree...I thought he would be nailed at home. Also Almora should of scored on that high bouncer
Could have been a different result if Albert Almora takes a secondary lead and doesn’t have concrete in his shoes @Cubs
Seriously. Almora with speed is an excellent piece. Without, he’s a 4th outfielder, at best.
It’s all geared toward millennials who enjoy fancy graphics and meaningless stats. Incidentally, Almora was nowhere near the go zone 😜
Solo aprendiste a no estar, desafortunadamente.
Also poor jump by Almora at third should have been tied
Earlier I was talking about Muncy’s hr last year that bounced back into the field and hit Almora’s head....
I guess Bellinger’s did today, too. 🤣
And that was your third baseman!!! Also, Almora has to have a bigger lead especially when the third baseman is 35 feet from the bag. You also can’t lead the eighth off with a walk, Ciscek!
At what point does Almora get better at playing baseball? He should know his role by now, do it. Fix it.
