Someone purporting to speak for the yellow vests just said on #bbcaq there would be civil unrest if Brexit is stopped. Don't worry everyone, here they are today marching down the Mall. Utterly sick of people like Graham Brady comparing Brexit negotiations to haggling over a used car. If I walk out of the garage without the car, I go home to my unchanged life. If No-Deal Brexit happens my life is changed irrevocably for the worse #bbcaq

Saying that leave voters didn’t know what they were voting for is not an insult, it’s a statement of fact. There was no deal in June 2016, so no one knew what Brexit meant. Now we do, let’s have a vote on it. #bbcaq

#bbcaq What a stupid attempt at an analogy from Graham Brady! If you threaten to walk about from a car salesman, you can go to another one down the road. If you quit the largest free trade area the world has ever seen, you won't find anything comparable on your doorstep.

#bbcaq From where do some halfwits get the idea that the 27 other EU countries need the UK more than we need them? They will continue to enjoy free trade and movement across an area populated by 440 million people, we won't.

Nonsensical analogy. More accurate analogy for "no-deal" would be to drive to finalize your deal to buy the new car but fail to agree, then in a fit of pique proudly burning your own car for the sake of it, and then later blaming everyone else that you can't get home. #bbcaq https://t.co/bixUfGROjS

We are not buying a car! At least the house-buying analogy of put in an offer, see the bad survey, take offer off the table is vaguely pertinent, but a car dealer knows you can walk away to another dealer. We'd be walking away over a cliff. #bbcaq

First time listening to #bbcaq in 2019, and I'm fascinated by the #Brexit chat. There seems to be no understanding of those advocating #NoDeal of its reality nor the fact that UK has not been negotiating from a position of equal strength to the #EU. We are junior party in talks.

#bbcaq Leave voters did know what they were voting for as INDIVIDUALS. What the Government SHOULD have done was an analysis of the critical issues and designed a deal that respected the 52% but also considered the 48%. Parliament should not harm the Country through dogma.

@WikiPickie @BBCAnyQuestions The £39bn is a useful bargaining chip if we want all the countries we intend to do deals with to know we don't keep our promises; we can only revoke Article 50 if it's "unequivocal and unconditional"; another objection to No Deal is it hurts us far more than it hurts them. #bbcaq
