@icklenellierose Blues Brothers. It is a stupid movie, but if I am going to suffer characters breaking out into songs it has the best. Also they save an orphanage and spite nazis, so bonus points for that.
@_MrsLockhart@katie_brennan Brand New Day, written by Luther Vandross. Magic.
Of course The Wiz is one of the GOATs. Probably has one of the best casts—comprised of superstars of music and comedy from multiple generations—that has ever been assembled in one film.
(Only Blues Brothers comes close.)
@Quantum_Week@QWeekChris Neither. I have seen Titanic, and it was not my thing. I think Celine Dion ruined that movie for me. Never saw Billy Madison, don’t care to. My go to movies are My Cousin Vinnie and Blues Brothers.
Dancing get a lot of the attention, but remember how unbelievably funny Jean Hagen is. Never once does she try to rush her delivery or shy away from it. Also, the diction coach is the great Kathleen Freeman who was also Penguin in "Blues Brothers"
