The Browns do realize they have a formidable backs in Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson, right?
Somewhere the Redskins are crying in their sleep for missing out on their kicker of the future. https://t.co/WMYOBRNtIJ
#Browns RB decisions last 11 months:
- 3/15: Signed Carlos Hyde to a 3-year, $15.25m deal.
- 4/27: Drafted Nick Chubb in the 2nd round.
- 6/8: Signed Duke Johnson to a 3-year, $15.6m extension.
- 10/19: Traded Hyde to JAX for a 5th-round pick.
- 2/11: Signed Kareem Hunt.
If I were Jerry/Stephen/Will I would make a call to CLE about Duke Johnson... they were SUPER high on him in the 2015 draft, as he fits a major need in DAL.
Cost can’t be too high either...
Maybe they’d take Taco for him 😎
Does signing Kareem Hunt make Duke Johnson expendable? #Browns GM John Dorsey replied, "I don't think it makes him expendable yet. You know, what you have to do is you have to go back and research your options and see moving forward what's best for the organization."
I have nothing else for you “bro” because I’d prefer to play in traffic than follow you down a rabbit hole as fundamentally useless as one comparing the DeMarco Murray trade of 3 years ago to trading for Duke f—king Johnson in 2019
Stop the madness https://t.co/I7QOxrgDMB
So I just learned about the Kareem Hunt signing.
First off, why?
Second off, you have freaking Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson. Teh heck?
Third, you're trying to change the culture of the Browns, wouldn't this contradict slightly?
@amazehayes_ Makes sense. However, people need to be cautious with Hunt. Very VERY cautious. Duke Johnson is a guy I'm looking to acquire right now from people because his value is the one people should worry about. He's likely gonna be a draft day trade candidate in my opinion.
John Dorsey was asked if the signing of Kareem Hunt makes Duke Johnson expendable. His answer: "I don't think it makes him expendable yet. What you have to do is you have to go back and research your options and see moving forward what's best for the... https://t.co/X588PLpDQV
I guess the Browns want to remain the Browns.
The Kareem Hunt signing makes zero sense, just for the fact that they have Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson.
Not to mention the baggage that comes with the signing.
