If people vote tactically at the next General Election, Boris Johnson will be unseated as Prime Minister and Tory rule will come to an end. Really is as simple as that.
New Savanta / Comres poll:
Lab: 42% (+2)
Con: 31% (-3)
Lib: 10% (=)
SNP: 4% (=)
Green: 5% (+1)
If repeated at a general election 150 Conservative MPs would lose their seats, including Boris Johnson, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Steve Baker and Iain Duncan Smith.
Johnson says he needs to listen to what people are saying, and it’s quite clear that people are saying fuck off.
Tactical voting works and it’s how we will win the next general election.
Liberal Democrats won a 29.9% swing in Tiverton & Honiton.
Even a swing half that size would see us win 47 seats from the Conservatives at a General Election.

David, you’re not reading the room. Your party made history last night. The biggest by-election defeat. Ever. If people vote tactically at the next General Election, the Tories will be beaten. It is as simple as that.
Surely it must be dawning even on the thickest Tory MPs now that they'll be annihilated at the next general election if they hold on to Johnson?
Former Theresa May Chief of Staff Gavin Barwell: "The Tiverton result is catastrophic. It's a seat we held in disaster of 1997...Conservatives should be very worried about the pincer movement which faces them at the next general election." #r4today
To be brutal, Labour’s win in Wakefield by-election was not good enough to put Keir Starmer on course to win next general election
🌹Wakefield is Labour’s first by-election gain from the Tories since 2012
🌹This swing of 12.7% would see Labour win an overall majority at a General Election
🌹Our best result in Wakefield since 2001 — and best ever on these boundaries
🌹Labour is now a government in waiting
Can we have a general election now please?
The result in Tiverton especially shows that voters are learning that tactical voting is a winning strategy. If Johnson leads the Tories into a general election, the Tories will be humiliated. He will be dispatched before Xmas. But can their position be recovered? Its all over.
Despite the Wakefield and Tiverton & Honiton by-election loss, Boris Johnson won't go.
160 -170 Tory MPs hold govt positions; won't derail their gravy train by voting against him.
Need a general election to boot out the entire govt.
Its economic failure are destroying the UK.
You seem to be missing the point even when it is handed to you on a plate by the voting public - Boris Johnson IS the problem - the people do not want chaos , they do not want ineffectual Government and most of all they do not want him - reset General Election now
"Labour and the Lib Dems mustn’t rest on their laurels, repeating this success will be much more difficult in a general election. Our polling proves they will need to collaborate to defeat the government.” @pimlicat
Time to work together 🔴🟡🟢✊

Normal midterm by-elections stats, low turnout, protest votes.
What needs doing BEFORE a General Election? Return to Conservative policies, complete Brexit, take NI out of EU control, put an end to the cross channel invasion and make Britain and British citizens YOUR priority.
Those saying ‘I hope Johnson stays until the next general election’ because the by-election results indicate the tories will be trounced if he does…I hear you but it’s TWO YEARS AWAY. Two years of poverty is going to kill a lot of people.
Yours is a government built on an electoral crime, as MI6 told both May and Johnson in 2017 - ie that Putin helped criminally procure the unsafe Referendum vote. Do the right thing now, and demand a general election at once .
Tactical voting idiocy in #TivertonandHonitonByElection which WON’T happen in a General Election 🗳 You reap what you sow #Wakefield #LabourLies
I’m STILL backing Boris today, who’s with me? 💪🏻🏴🇬🇧

Ignoring the result and carrying on is not taking responsibility. It's the exact reverse. The public hate you, your leader and your government. It's time to listen and let the people speak in a General Election..
1/ Earlier today at KICC, the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Council, under the Chairmanship of the Party Leader the Rt Hon Raila Odinga held held fruitful discussions regarding preparations for the forthcoming general election.
Perhaps the Queen will now intervene, remove the corrupt evil criminal Johnson, and call a General Election. Johnson has very gravely damaged the UK .

This 'government' has no mandate. It's a gang of kidnappers, holding us hostage.
The whole lot should go, not just toxic Johnson.
Yesterday's by-elections are a clarion call for a General Election: the country has no confidence in the shysters squatting in Westminster.

You can relaunch after you lose the next general election. 12yrs is long enough, time to go.
The risk for the nascent and hugely successful liberal alliance is over-excited hotheads like Lord Adonis making silly claims like "if we repeat this at the general election we can reverse Brexit" - the Lib Dems in particular need some common sense and moderation.
Lib Dems also lost party leader Jo Swinson in UK general election few years previously.
Failed to get elected in 🏴 Scotland.

The snap general election line has snapped: this is the last best chance conservative MPs have to change leadership to keep their seats and try to win power at the next general election. Time for cabinet resignations & change to the 1922 committee rules.
