@danwiederer noted on Monday that he was convinced that the #Bears were too content with mediocrity. Today's presser with George and Ted have done more than enough to confirm exactly that.
Reporters have asked several times why George and Ted are confident that Pace/Nagy can right the ship, fix the QB position, compete for a championship, etc. Their responses have largely been "Pace and Nagy are our guys and they're nice people and we believe in them"
So George and Ted like how Pace & Nagy respond to adversity but they donāt realize the adversity was cause BY PACE & NAGY!!! #Bears
The Bears are an unmitigated disaster and itās right in the lap of George and Ted. My God could they really be further away from the importance of winning ??? This presser is everything we thought it would be and more.
Portion for George and Ted has concluded.
Ted Phillips is staying on with the Bears.
Nagy and Pace are basically repeating what George and Ted said
@BradBiggs I feel like the press folks, yourself included, asked some great questions and pressed them in a way that reflects the fans anger and frustration. ...its been quite a shit show to watch the responses from George and Ted. Yikes.
@ESPN1000 How were they able to listen to George and Ted without laughing like the rest of us.
@danpompei 1) Mitch is not back is one thing - easy to see
2) They will draft QB in first round - second to see
But first part (With George and Ted) of presser was so frustrating to watch for a fan...
With how bad the presser was with George and Ted, can it get much worse with Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace??
Another peach of a question by
@markgrotesports, really putting the sword to George and Ted about the huge fuck ups the Bears have made at QB position. This is comedy gold.
@WaddleandSilvy Da truth is...
Silvy speaks for all of us. Always has. In one corner you've got George and Ted (I don't even think Ryan and Matt expected to be back). In the other corner is literally everyone else on planet earth.
@AdamSchefter Impressed with both of them??
That is the problem. Bears will never win a Super Bowl with George and Ted in charge of this team....never.
This Bears conference is a joke lol George and Ted danced around questions
@MarjMellow No, because George and Ted are the only ones who've spoken so far. Nagy and Pace are up now, and I imagine Pace will deflect that question and say now's not the time to discuss it if and when he gets it. š
@AdamHoge I feel like the press folks, yourself included, asked some great questions and pressed them in a way that reflects the fans anger and frustration. ...its been quite a shit show to watch the responses from George and Ted. Yikes.
@kfishbain @adamjahns I feel like the press folks, yourself included, asked some great questions and pressed them in a way that reflects the fans anger and frustration. ...its been quite a shit show to watch the responses from George and Ted. Yikes.
@MattEurich Totally pertinent. More reason not to trust George and Ted.
@670TheScore @mullyhaugh Its clear Momma Bear needs to take the keys away from George and Ted. They clearly don't understand what a successful organization is or what one looks like.
@Russ_Dorsey1 George and ted sound like fools right now. Itās like watching a GarPax press conference.
Quick shoutout to #BearsTwitter today. George and Ted are class acts as well as professional smooth talkers, but you guys have done an excellent job of trying to hold them accountable. Thank you for asking the tough questions on our behalf.
#chicagobears #bears
@wiltfongjr Yeah but Potash's point was George and Ted judge Ryan and Matt. So the person deciding if the football guys do a good job...aren't football guys. That was the point of the question.
@patrickfinley So George and Tedās heads will remain up their own assess?
@bdfonseca16 Just totally turns me off. After this is over Iām putting my heart and mind elsewhere. Iāll always be a fan but need a break from the absolute clown show.
Boggles my mind that George and Ted are still driving the bus.
