H1-B holders in the United States can rest assured that changes are soon coming which will bring both simplicity and certainty to your stay, including a potential path to citizenship. We want to encourage talented and highly skilled people to pursue career options in the U.S.

@realDonaldTrump So if you are smart you are allowed in, but if you are fleeing for your life and your children's lives, you have to stay on the other side of your imaginary wall? I commend you continuing the H1-B, but trying to act all high and mighty over this is a joke.

@krassenstein @realDonaldTrump H1-B holders deserve a path to citizenship, but asylum seekers also deserve a chance to save themselves and their families from violence.

@realDonaldTrump Thank you, @realDonaldTrump! Looking forward to the changes. There are around 300k H1-B holders who have been in the United States for 10+ yrs with approved #immigrant petitions, & several contributions to economy & society. But, no pathway to citizenship. Only 150-years wait. SIIA.US's photo on H1-B

@realDonaldTrump So we can only assume that the changes Trump will make under the guidance of Stephen Miller is to give H1-B visas to European countries while curtailing immigration from everywhere else. And there’s no talk about how to manage asylum claims in a humanitarian way.

#Editorial: H1-B visas are often used not to import specialized labor that we can't find domestically but are instead used by large corps (think tech monopolies) to displace equally-qualified American workers and keep the prevailing wage low. Need to audit! #MAGA #HireAmerican https://t.co/PIoSFnPyDc

Illegals are easy targets because they are inherently criminals. But the fact is, they are peon laborers who come and go. H1-B visa holders have been devastating to the middle class. They are more impactful yet rarely get talked about.

@LaReinaCreole @realDonaldTrump The rampant abuse of the H1-B program by American companies needs to be investigated. Tech salaries have declined and the job market has shrunk due to the influx of cheap labor, overwhelmingly from India. @tam8ta

@realDonaldTrump End the H1-b's! I work in staffing and its decimated many of the software niches like Java, C++etc. US java devs got 70-100/hr, now they're extinct. Company pays an agency 60/hr, agency pays sponsor 50, sponsor pays indian $35 (and Citizens have to do the work over again). F H1b

Many H1-B holders are: 1. Not particularly talented or highly skilled. 2. No more talented or skilled than Americans. 3. Are often hired for low- or entry-level tasks The program is grossly abused by corporations. It must be scrapped and all visa holders should be sent back! https://t.co/t3cRgbf8VN

@VelshiRuhle Changing H1-B Visa rules is great. As long as it does not sideline equally qualified, educated, motivated American candidates for foreign workers. @michaelfertik #VelshiRuhle BTW: Why are your H1-B statistics over 5 years old? Nothing more recent? Huh?
