The Hamilton County Outdoor Warning sirens were temporarily activated this morning as a result of an operator error during routine training. The sirens were briefly activated for several seconds this morning before being cancelled. There is no action required by the public.

I’m not sure why the tornado warning siren is going off in Hamilton County, but there is no tornado warning.

"After reviewing our collective experiences of the past 12 months, it is now Hamilton County policy to blow the storm siren on Monday mornings just, you know, to give you a general sense of alarm and dread about the week ahead. Have a nice day."

02/22/2021: If you are in the southern portion of Warren County you may have heard Hamilton County's outdoor warning sirens activate this morning. There is no severe weather threat and they are working to determine the cause.
