@bizarroworldInc Yes, drones for #KimberleyCruise, helicopters for #TheGhan and #IndianPacific. Partly for budgetary reasons, partly because drones can't keep up with trains that go 120km/h. More in this interview with the producer: https://t.co/vT2ldnbYFu #SlowSummer
Three things I've learned from #indianpacific and #KimberleyCruise
1. Parramatta's population is 50% more than Darwin
2. Parramatta has 100% less crocs than Darwin
3. We live in a big, beautiful country (but I already knew that)
Orange East Fork station, on the Sydney-Perth mainline is a couple of kilometres south of the main station, on the Sydney-Dubbo line. The #indianpacific no longer stops there, but the weekly Broken Hill train and this weekend's Elvis specials to Parkes still do. https://t.co/9flsq7L1xg
The soothing and compelling journey of the #indianpacific will take some topping but really looking forward to seeing if the #Kimberley can pull it off.
Replace the train with a boat, the tracks with water (and a cheeky shiraz in hand) and we're away.
