1. History repeats itself constantly but sometimes not perfectly. For instance on March 15th 44 BC Brutus a Roman SENATOR and head of a group of about 60 conspirators stabbed Julius Caesar to death. Julius had just been "elected" as "dictator perpetuo" by that same Roman Senate.

On this day, over 2000 years ago, the Roman dictator, Julius Caesar, was murdered. And you know what? I'm livid about that fact because he had plans to build a library that would rival the one in Alexandria and those ungrateful senators ruined those plans. #IdesOfMarch

Julius Caesar was murdered #onthisday in 44BC, a key event in the transition of Rome from Republic to Empire. It is probably no coincidence that Gothic King Theoderic the Great chose that day in AD493 to murder Odoacer, the final nail in the coffin of the Western Roman Empire. Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders that I yet have heard, It seems to me most strange that men should fear; Seeing that death, a necessary end, Will come when it will come. - W. Shakespeare, Julius Caesar https://t.co/cGkNIVi5bW
