Jeff Wilson Jr.
The #49ers future is bright 💎
The 49ers running back room is deep and talented once again:
* Raheem Mostert
* Trey Sermon
* Jeff Wilson, Jr.
* Wayne Gallman
* JaMycal Hasty
And of course Kyle Juszczyk paving the way for them.
#49ers running backs
Raheem Mostert, contract year
Jeff Wilson Jr., contract year
Wayne Gallman Jr., contract year
Trey Sermon, four-year contract
Elijah Mitchell, four-year contract
how a team intelligently upgraded their run game...
RB room before:
RB Wayne Gallman
- free agent add ($1M/1yr deal)
OG Aaron Banks
- round 2
RB Trey Sermon
- round 3
OG Jaylon Moore
- round 5
RB Elijah Mitchell
- round 6
Two running backs? Are the 49ers trading Raheem Mostert or something?
Somebody getting traded lol
Elijah Mitchell is gonna Raheem Mostert Raheem Mostert
Trey Sermon winds up on a team where he may not be "the guy" this year, but he'll earn significant time splitting it with Mostert and eventually, if not sooner, winds up the lead back.
A couple things on #49ers going RB twice (especially with need at WR still):
1. Mostert, Wilson, Gallman aren't under contract beyond the 2021 season.
2. Niners have been hit hard by RB injuries a lot in recent years. Depth on roster and practice squad has been needed.
After watching the 49ers draft two RBs this weekend, it's been unreal to see how many 49ers fans actually think Mostert is elite.
He's got elite speed. He's not an elite RB. Big difference.
49ers have the most flooded RB room.
I never thought I’d say this in my life, but im fading the Shanahan RBs😬😬
I'd keep an eye out on that... @HermsNFL
and I think Mostert may be a potential off-season cut for SF. I'm a bit more bullish on his survival, but it's a genuine possiblity.
Mostert for 1-2 but you can’t find that on the FA market.
We don’t need another TE. Shanahan’s offense will always be run first. This is proof that he wants depth at the line for playoff run that will likely involve many injuries. No other reason for us to have Mostert, Wilson, Gallman, Sermon, Mitchell. Hands down best running scheme.
@TC_Hughes @therobbieevans @zaypitts_ @SharpFootball
He’s an impact veteran player. He’s cheap this year. Last year they kept beat up Tevin Coleman for 5 million. They got these backs to lighten Raheem’s load and they were too talented for them to pass. Plans change but Mostert isn’t going anywhere. Injury the only concern
Mostert for 1-2 or Gurley for 2-3. Who would you rather have on an NFL roster?
Thoughts on Sermon and Mitchell in the SF scheme? Obviously Mostert, Wilson, Juice and Hasty are there too 😰🥴😬
What u talking 3 of the 49ers RB are in contract years... now get two cheap rbs in 4 year contracts.. plus mostert and wilson are injury prone

Would be great to see this kid bump Tartt off next year I love this draft Barnes/Moore picks could mean Laken is gone Sermon likely means Mostert is gone, especially after he asked for a new deal, the 2 CBs I like a lot. Great Draft by @JohnLynch49ers
, Adam Peters & Kyle Shanahan
Raheem Mostert will be a 29yo running back with 1600 career yards next season. He’s electric, and a difference maker when on the field, but he’s a 29yo RB with 1600 career yards.
These rumors about trading Mostert making me mad lmao
I think it’s depth for plans of next year we keep one of Mostert/Wilson. Prob Wilson he’s younger
