The Mourinho effect
People say Mourinho has lost his ability to turn teams around. Well last week he relaunched Sheffield United’s season and tonight he made Bournemouth look like a different side.
I'm ashamed of myself for ever asking Arsenal Football club to consider Jose Mourinho as a replacement for Unai Emery. I blame Unai Emery for pushing me to the edge. With hindsight I'd like to sincerely apologize to everyone associated with Arsenal football club.
Greenwood would be on loan at Bournemouth if Mourinho was still our manager
If Pogba stays, Ole deserves massive credit. The player wanted out under Mourinho & is now enjoying his football at the club.
"I saw the other day he already started to have a go at Arsenal, that was pretty funny at the end of the day. But no, listen, I didn’t think about it too much. Because I don’t think about Tottenham and I never did in fairness so it won’t change."

Tottenham under Jose Mourinho
For the first time in (maybe pre 2013?) Man Utd actually have a certain plan, and settled XI. You can see what they’re trying to do. And a defined transfer approach. Whatever Ole does or does not do from here, his tenure beats Moyes/LVG/Mourinho
To be fair, Jose Mourinho is not the first to do this after hearing my voice and won't be the last.
Biggest Football managerial downgrades:
Sir Alex Ferguson to David Moyes
Arsene Wenger to Unai Emery
Antoni Conte to Maurizio Sarri
Mauricio Pochettino to Jose Mourinho.
There’s no way one single United fan can watch this spurs team and say they miss Mourinho, I’m having war flashbacks just watching it
Mourinho never got hold of Mason Greenwood
0 - Bournemouth's 0-0 draw with Spurs was the first time in 186 @premierleague
games that the Cherries have faced zero shots on target, while it's the first time a side managed by José Mourinho had no shots on target in a PL match since April 2007 (Chelsea v Newcastle). Blank.
Only Spurs could get the full Mourinho experience but without the two years of winning stuff first
Watched Arsenal and Spurs in the flesh this week. The difference in terms of structure & creativity is enormous. I expect Mourinho’s Spurs will be better suited to playing Arsenal than a compact Bournemouth, but still... it’s striking how much more developed #AFC are under Arteta
I like Jose Mourinho. But I don’t know if he’s still got it. I kind of feel there is an old Mourinho and a new one now. And that new one is a shadow of the former.
I deserve to be locked up in jail for wanting Mourinho at Arsenal 😭😭 but before that I need 5mins in the boxing ring with Unai Emery for making me so desperate 😭😭😭😭😭

the longest run of starts that Martial had under Mourinho was 6 games. He scored 6 goals in that period https://t.co/IGZBfB52u3
The football tonight has been bang ordinary. The officiating has been a disgrace. Jon Moss gave Fernandes one like that at Spurs which was overruled. That should’ve been. Mourinho is right - nailed on pen for Spurs. Why put Michael Oliver on that game? Why?
Mourinho said Wenger is a specialist in failure only to become exactly that

I was angry, frustrated and hot headed after that. I had to rant.
For the first time since he arrived at Spurs, I asked myself: do I really believe José Mourinho is the right man for the job?

Eric Dier has stunned Tottenham's board with wage demands that at least double his £60,000-a-week current salary.
The 26-year-old has less than 12 months on his deal and wants to stay at the club given the relationship he has forged with José Mourinho.

Reporter: "Can you hear me?"
Jose Mourinho: “No.”
Mourinho stormed out of his press conference after Tottenham drew 0-0 at Bournemouth. 👀

Mourinho will kill Bruno for loosing too many balls thereby dropping him for Lingard.
Greenwood will be considered lazy as he often doesn't return to help AWB, thus Jose will value James for his work rate.
This is what it'd look like if "THE SPECIAL ONE WAS STILL HERE".
7 attacking players used against the team that started the day second bottom, and 0 shots on target.
An attempt to explain why yesterday was so soul-destroying, and why with season-ticket renewals opening on Monday it came at worst possible time for #THFC https://t.co/NeHCNMvU7g
