Hey everyone! You might be wondering why the word “Toad” is trending. It’s because everyone loves that classic Nintendo character!
*grabs your face, looks you dead in the eye* There is no other reason. Do not look for a reason.

Los que crecimos jugando el juego de los patos en el Nintendo, forjamos el carácter con cada burla, con cada risa del perro al dejar escapar patos, algo que la generación blandengue y ofendida de hoy jamás sabrá.
If you were Nintendo, especially knowing that you aren’t planning to support Splatoon 2 with additional DLC for much longer, why wouldn’t you just exclude this game from your new online platform plans? “Anything that comes out after September 18th requires the new package.”
Classic NES games are now on Nintendo Switch & I'm very happy 💜
+ They run smooth and don't look dimly lit
+ Multiple filtering options like 4:3, Pixel Perfect, and CRT
- You can't remap the controls
- You can only play them online with friends, not random people
I'm not a fan of paid online console services in general, but at least PlayStation and Xbox give you a handful of free games per month that have substance beyond the well-established NES flare
If Nintendo thinks 3 new NES games per month is fine, they need to get more aggressive
Nintendo Switch Online:
-Pay $20 to keep using the same online features that we already had FOR FREE for over a year
-Cloud Saves, not compatible with all games
-20+ NES games, you’ll probably play only 10% of them
-Online app is still useless
-Special Offers, who knows
With all these past quotes and promises Nintendo made about their online service back in 2017 turning out to be completely false thus far, makes you wonder what happened behind the scenes that so very little progress was made in a year and half since Switch launched 🤔
https://t.co/mTM6kMaUeJ These images came from an Amazon listing that is still live. He may be released someday, but we don't know. This also goes for the Koopa Paratroopa and Running Mario plushes also set to be in this wave.
Nintendo Switch Firmware 6.0.0 is now available, which also kicks off Nintendo Switch Online services. Some additional notes includes Cloud Saves, the ability to attach 4 images on social media, and changing the layout of the keyboard: https://t.co/4mnchKgoqk
Pretty bummed about the whole Nintendo Online thing. I'm probably just over thinking it but it seems like a change in attitude and direction for Nintendo. Nintendo was always about getting as many people as possible to enjoy their games, I think free online was a part of that.

@SailorCallie Okay sure but like u sorta missed the point of my post. My post wasnt about nintendo online being reasonable it was about people being kicked out of a community that meant something to them
@PaperSak Hmm Is the marketing what's getting people? That just seems like Nintendo being Nintendo to me, trying to make it friendly and understandable for everyone. To me, at this point, Nintendo not having us pay for how long they did was surprising. Idk how they wouldn't be losing money
@JacobAWohl@realDonaldTrump How the he!! would you know? You and #CadetBoneSpurs never served a minute. I know more veterans and active service people than you will ever know and most believe your Dear Leader is nuts. Go back to Mom’s basement and play on your Nintendo, Crook.
