SIMMS DOUBLES OUR LEAD!!!! COME ON!!!!

Ellis Simms and Ross Stewart.
Name a better strike partnership in the world right now...
We'll wait.

I repeat. Ellis Simms has scored goals at every level of football he has played at. He's done so again this afternoon. Why you send him out on loan when we don't have goalscorer worthy of the name at the club is absolutely staggering
That was an outstanding first-half from Sunderland who lead QPR 2-0. Front three of Stewart, Simms and Pritch is working wonders. Brilliant.

11' Pritchard dinks the ball into Stewart and he knocks the ball down to Simms, but the striker's effort is straight at Dieng!

I once dated my crush.
Honestly crushes are just meant to be crushes nothing more.
🔴⚪️Half Time⚪️🔴
Great first half for Sunderland!
Goals from Ross Stewart and Ellis Simms puts The Black Cats ahead.
"Sunderland go into the break very pleased, They have capitalised with the Stewart Simms combination" (

The keeper had a free header lad. The subs fucked us today. Soon as Simms got took off we invited pressure.
https://t.co/NjnfF1ZBrWMight get pelters here, but Alex Neil’s cost us that win today
Have zero clue what the logic was in moving to a back 4. We were totally in control up until that point
If Simms had to come off, stick Diamond up there, having 2 up front occupies an extra defender🤷♂️
First time I've been disappointed with Alex Neil's game management. Dan Neil should have been off 10 to 15 minutes sooner and he should have kept Simms on and took Clarke off for Roberts.
Need to get used to making use of the 5 subs when other sides are.
We need a senior GK
Aye that equaliser stung like fuck but this moment felt utterly fucking divine.
Bringing Ellis Simms off may have played a part in them getting back in - debate away - but what can't be up for debate is just how good this lad is.
Next level #SAFC
https://t.co/yEDEoCQvCjfor 86 minutes I thought we were outstanding.... Cory Evans absolutely ran the midfield, with Stewart and Simms up front were gonna be ok... defensively I worry, especially when arses Start to nip
Would we have taken five points from the first three matches before the season began? I’d say so, personally, but it should’ve been seven.
Need to have more confidence in ourselves rather than sitting back & inviting pressure. The Simms substitution was wrong, without a doubt.
This is the first season back in the Championship, we’ll have a bad spell so all points at this stage are key. Gutted to give it away but we haven’t lost as much as it feels like we have. Positives to take, Simms is a machine and Stewart is Championship level. Go again Wednesday.
Alex Neil got to take some of the blame, taking off simms and sitting back for 45 minutes
simms be sat there thinking wow this is the worst goalkeeper i’ve ever seen after he carries us week in week out
It feels like a defeat. The second half was a carbon copy of the Coventry game. We need to see out games. There are positives to take from the game though, Simms and Stewart got on the score sheet again and we got a point against a team that beat Wilders Boro last weekend.
Think Neil got it wrong today taking simms off. Jack Clarke shouldn’t have been on that pitch after half time. Hopefully one thing they realise hit the little bastard on the half way line not 20 yards out #SAFC
Corry Evans had one of his best games today. Unreal performance. Simms going off invited pressure. Not sure why that sub was made
Ellis Simms reminds me of Josh Maja.
Strong, physical, calm in front of goal, can finish with both his left and his right foot.
Looks a real talent 👏
Here we were great though. Dominated most of the game. Patto didnt have a save to make til 87. Simms and Stewart such a handful.
Start the season 3 unbeaten.

@AntStephen Aim these responses to the board 👍
Colby Bishop - 3 for Portsmouth already.
Simms - 2 for Sunderland
Can't get deals done with..
Oxford
Shamrock Rovers
Sheffield Wednesday
Etc Etc 😉
@Capt_Fishpaste Sometimes you to be critical. Bad management second half. Hooked Simms too early.
@rogerefc Do u really think Ellis Simms is good enough to lead the line for Everton? If so give your head a wobble
@SunderlandAFC @dg_ballard All the best Dan. However, Dan aside, we blew that big time and Alex Neil shares the blame for his substitutions. Simms didn't deserve to be taken off and it without a doubt changed dynamics of the game.
