Six-time regional champion. 2020 Worlds finalist. We’ve faced him on the rift before, but now it’s time for him to lead us to victory.
Welcome to TSM, SwordArt 🤝 (Pending Riot approval)
If my educated guess is correct, SwordArt will be the highest paid player in the #LCS, even more than Perkz — although I don't think Perkz is that far behind.
Kind of crazy we went from Impact being the highest paid at ~$1.2 mil/yr to two players making give or take $3 mil/yr.
Breaking: Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Chieh has signed with TSM for two years and $6 million, a believed record contract for an esports player in a North American league. https://t.co/bWYVBYhUOX
I don't mind the big spend for TSM SwordArt. Few teams are in a position to swing big and TSM is one of them. He instantly becomes a top two support in NA with Core until proven otherwise.
Also, if they promote Lost, SwordArt has shown he can raise up a young talent this year
“I hope you can remember what we said together at the meeting before, that no matter what team we’re on in the future, each one of us must take personal responsibility, and support the whole team (...)”
SwordArt’s incredibly long farewell post to his Suning teammates. https://t.co/Leqfsw40TG
Folks curious about Swordart's English can watch this interview I did with him a couple years ago
Top Nuguri / Morgan
JG Peanut / Arthur
Mid Chovy / Faker
Sup SwordArt / Vsta https://t.co/FZKwRhtu15
But SwordArt just went to Worlds Finals! And Huni played for SKT once! And PoE has a cool narrative versus TSM! The narratives pay for themselves! https://t.co/9O2bAu21db
Tsm really paid 6mil for swordart and DL still retired... curious of who is gonna fill his shoes and how this new roster is going to do
If this is in honour of the SwordArt move then, respect!
sword Art is worth the money tbh but imagine:
But my favorite gold 4 analyst Thorin said swordart is washed
seeing swordart trending i had a dread of fear it was going to be about some sao thing, no its just esports and tsm signing on swordart :)
Well swordart and core are easily the best players in NA with perkz now
I can see retiring if Swordart didn't make it to TSM... But I just don't understand why you'd be retiring when he made it. Could have been the year for your best performance ever. Now we remember your last world's appearance as 0-6.
but why invest 6 million into an old support with ok english instead of looking for a star toplaner and a promising support to field alongside lost? noe they have huni and swordart. what a waste of everyones time
Quick list of Supports I’d pick up before Swordart to match TSM’s known roster/save millions of dollars with minimal change.
