When they first announced the Pokémon Box Link system in SWSH that lets you get your Pokémon at any time, I was against it.
However after 2 years with it, and going back to old games in the interim, I am so glad it's back with BDSP. It's so convenient and useful.
Now one thing I am hesitant about is the return of single-use TMs in the game.
I was ok with TRs in SWSH because they threw them at you like EXP Candy in raids, so I have literally hundreds of each.
I hope BDSP is as generous with them in the endgame.
Incidentally, Anubis has gone through the numbers so much and determined the truth about the shiny odds in SWSH.
That 3% wasn't a 3% chance of a shiny rate, but something else. Brilliant Pokémon have the boosted odds
Give it a read. She did amazing tests here. https://t.co/XIKs7i7ZF4
Photographer: Hey guys, remember how the SwSh dlc let you dress like Marnie? Well what do you think Marnie’s reaction would be if Gloria started dressing like her? https://t.co/l46rAgkWZU
People have come to accept the full party EXP share. It's been this way since Gen 6.
The issue is that Gen 6 and 7 let you turn the EXP Share on/off at will.
LGPE, SwSh, and now BDSP do not.
The issue should be pretty clear, even if I don't think it's a huge one.
Please remember me as the OG SwSh shill when it inevitably becomes the rare hidden gem game and I am no longer on this app on account of having a life.
Press previews are up for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Features such as the remote access PC, autosaves, always on EXP Share, and type effectiveness indicators have been imported over from SwSh.
Obviously a toggle would be ideal on exp share, but I really enjoy it in Pokemon in tandem with PC everywhere access.
I had way more enjoyment from SWSH when I actually like, utilized the new gameplay systems instead of ignoring it.
People call it unbalanced, but https://t.co/9qvFFTByFR
“Pokémon SwSh is a 10/10 game” 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
there, I said it.
SwSh also had single-use TMs, they just renamed them. TRs were all the rly good moves too. I don't see a problem, especially when so many ppl are mad about Exp Share making ti "too easy". Work for those TMs then, baby!!
How the fuck were you overleveled on sole account of EXP share in SWSH? The only times I got super overleveled by accident in those games, in the MANY times I've replayed them, is if I used too many of the EXP candies from raids on a fast growing mom by accident.
For the record I do still think I'll have a decent time with the remakes, unlike my time with SwSh, but I do wish they actually cared about feedback and let the players tailor their experiences in a series entirely about team building options and customization.
Peaked earlier imo but was still really good for a while until some point around the USUM to SWSH timeframe
Let’s hope Legends sets a better standard
Forced exp share killed any hype I had for this game. Just great. Months of waiting in excitement just to not get this game in the end.
I skipped SwSh because of forced Exp. share, now I have to skip this too. I can’t believe this.

Something that these people just completely ignore is a lot of the fun of Pokemon for a lot of us is raising the teams. With EXP Share always on, the game is so easy that you almost never have to switch out anyone. In SwSh I was forgetting who was on my team.
swsh felt like it was maybe 1/5 of a game. im still mad about the dex cuts too, my fav part of wvery game is filling out the whole dex...
bc they’re unova Pokémon and they weren’t in swsh
Replacing pokemon black since i never finished it back in highschool and oh boy since swsh was the only pokemon game i finshed going back to the pokemon center to withdraw pokemon is tedious
Gen 7 just had a ton of little problems that added up (no cutscene skip, Z-Moves were ass, super handholdy and linear, USUM shitting on the original narrative, etc.), and I don't think I need to elaborate on SWSH.
idc about single use TM that's never even bothered me but being overleved in almost every SwSh fight was so annoying.
I loved being a bit under or the same as the opponent hhggghhjjjjjjj
TL;DR: While SWSH's Exp Share is better distribution-wise, not being able to toggle it gives players far fewer options to manage exp, and its inclusion in BDSP is concerning since Sinnoh's level curve is not built for such a system.
Actual dog feces > Pokemon Swsh
Music and the New Pokemon are bangers but the game is an utter embarrassment
I've seen people complain about this a lot today, and hey I get it. More options are always better.
Counter point: Isn't the reason most people like multi-use TM's because they're easier for competitive...which will still be in SwSh? https://t.co/LW8zXLiO7b
@CUmeorah @Balurion2 @GaoRush
It wa also like this in swsh and guess what
It literally wasnt a problem, even for ev training because they made the system no longer completely insane
ilca heard me calling swsh's soundtrack mid and was like "hold my beer, let me add an "i" to the end of that" https://t.co/GrSH4XmwrO
90% do que essa conta tem postado ultimamente é falso
Eles acertaram as coisas na época antes do lançamento de SwSh por causa de dataminers, depois disso foi mentira atrás de mentira KKKKKKKKKKK
@mrgreenman4 @nightfurywitch @SerebiiNet
I also honestly do think people are making to big of a fuz about it.
I personally play mostly exclusively RPGs and stuff like the Digimon games have been doing it for the bigger part of 2 decades, and only like 2 years ago I saw people compare SWSH to the cyber sleuth games
