SOURCES: A Clemson back-up offensive lineman tested positive for COVID-19 from a test taken Friday. They received the results after Clemson landed in Tallahassee. The player traveled with the team. FSU officials weren’t comfortable playing because of potential spread.

So according to reports, Clemson:
*Traveled to Tallahassee
*Passed Covid protocols
*ACC said it was safe for both teams to play
*Clemson was willing to push the game back to Sunday
Florida State refused to play.
Sure sounds like FSU is using Covid as an excuse for PUNKING out https://t.co/edUTAEReYR
Dabo: “We’ll get everyone retested and stick around in Tallahassee until Monday and literally play whenever you want. You can even have a 28-point head start.”
Clemson Sports News reached out to sources in Tallahassee close to the Clemson program and confirmed that Coach Swinney told Florida State to get tested today and they would play tonight, or even stay to Monday and play then. Was told no by the Seminoles.
#Clemson even brought @theEVENTguys
to #Tallahassee for a 7,200 sqft physically-distanced meeting space.
All chairs were placed 6' apart.
Pathetic, FSU & ACC. https://t.co/DkGpVIjNqM
NEW: Spoke with Clemson AD Dan Radakovich at the team hotel in Tallahassee about alternatives Clemson offered FSU for playing this weekend and if Clemson would return to Tallahassee for a game later: "Somebody would have to pay the cab fare." https://t.co/51mUiZtjVd
Dabo intentionally brought a covid positive player to Tallahassee, knowing FSU medical staff would not let that fly. Takes a disgusting person to put his entire team at risk just to get out of playing a conference rival.
Reports have said Clemson had a player exhibiting symptoms throughout the week while still practicing and then received a positive result today: https://t.co/kGqWpJ9UQc

I wrote this story yesterday about how bad #FSU's financial situation is.
Today's game would have likely been ugly but the revenue is the same no matter the result. Can't fathom admin would let that money potentially be lost just to avoid being blown out
Clemson wasted a lot of money to go to Tallahassee and not play a football game today

#FSU was expecting approximately 17,000 fans to attend today's home game vs. Clemson, giving plenty of motivation to make the game up December 12th.
However, Clemson hasn't yet indicated whether it will travel to FSU again to make it up.
I want Grant Heard in Tallahassee
Kanye West - "Tallahassee"
Unfortunately today’s game has been canceled, but safety first! We’ll get through this Tallahassee, & ESPN we look forward to working with you when you are back in #tallahassee!

reports say they didn't get the test result back until after they arrived in Tallahassee. I don't fault Clemson for that.
What I *do* fault them for is that said player (supposedly) showed symptoms earlier in the week, but tested negative, so he was allowed to practice.
FSU is hopeful that it can make up its game against Clemson on December 12th, but Clemson hasn't yet indicated that will happen. https://t.co/lz0W8yvp9c
Send this defense to Tallahassee man
Clemson spent $300,000 to travel down to Tallahassee only fir FSU to get scared and cancel to duck an ass whooping. Why would they want to spend another $300,000 at this point? They tried to play the game tonight or Monday and FSU said they were too scared. FSoftU
