I liked the Jodie reveal, but I’m a long-time fan so of course I like linear traditional broadcast appointment TV. I started watched when the Doctor was Tom Baker, FFS. (I HATED the Capaldi reveal show - the contact embarrassment was so high I hid behind a cushion.)

Hmm. I'm feeling a little bit like my brain is being weird because I was like pretty sure that Tom Baker talked about the fluidity of sexuality at some point. Really feels like actors talking about queer experiences get largely ignored unless they're a full spectacle.
