Some more details on the Tony Mokbel attack. Mokbel was on his way from the visitor centre at Barwon back to his cell when he was set upon by two men who had been at a 21st birthday gathering. His assailants mocked him as he lay on the floor @theheraldsunhttps://t.co/WpcxIJFFiw
If its OK to give Tony Mokbel first class medivac treatment after being harmed in detention, what is the issue with a medivac for a sick refugee? #auspol #MediVacBill #BorderSecurity #MediVacLAW #BackTheBill #medivac
Dutton and Morrison need to explain how the biggest leech in Australia. Tony Mokbel, was happily rushed to the hospital. This grub destroyed lives with his drug empire, Murders people. Yet Dutton and Morrison fought to stop Asylum seeker receiving medical help.
.@BreakfastNews .@mjrowland68 How can we deny medical care to anybody? Do we do it because they’re brown? An example: doctors are trying to save the life of Tony Mokbel, whose crimes may be a lot worse than a refugee’s crimes.
Apparently it’s a problem to provide health care to refugees accused of crimes. Yet, we have no problem providing health care in Australia to our worst criminals - Tony Mokbel this week, Brett Cowan a year ago. A rubbish excuse that denies human rights.
@abc730@leighsales@PeterDutton_MP These people have been screened multiple times. If there are any who need medical treatment, the Minister has the right to do so with appropriate security arrangements. If that can be done for Tony Mokbel, it can be done here.
@TedMcdonnell It doesn't matter who put them there. If people are critically ill and need acute medical care they need to be treated. Even Tony Mokbel received urgent medical care when he was stabbed in prison, and he is hardly a pillar of society.
@dailytelegraph Institutional racism is very rife even in the media that people of color have to see themselves as being less Australian and the people around them are conditioned to think that too. I wonder why colour wasn't mentioned before Tony Mokbel.
